What beautiful images of this unique, unfortunately extinct, bird! I love them all.
I like Marian's 1985 lithograph for its vibrant color, and for the ruffled feathers of the 'O'o.
I like the print from S. Peter Dance's book for the extreme detail, especially in the yellows. This print also shows quite a bit of white on the undertail coverts, while Marian's show mostly yellows. I have no idea which is correct (if not both).
I like Marian's 2010 Giclee for the bright colors, and for the interaction between the two birds. I also like the details in the red ohia blossoms.
I like N. Robert Wagstaff's detailed background, and great detail in the yellow plummage.
