OK, so this is a bit wierd. The judge said "Bizarre!" and gave me a reasonable score (but no prize). I worked with the six images shown below (plus a couple more photos of scarlet ibis), and just messed around with Photoshop until I had the final result (up top in case you are not sure). Selecting the gargoyle was the hardest part.
