Palila - Fringillidae Laxioides bailleui

From the Wikipedia website: "The Palila is a critically endangered finch-billed species of Hawaiian honeycreeper. It became endangered due to destruction of the trees and accompanying dry forests."

Marian Berger's paintings of the Palila can be found on my website at: 1985 Lithographs, 2010 Giclees, Living Endemic, and the Marion Collection.
