Northern Barred Woodcreeper

Dendrocolaptidae Dendrocolaptes sanctithomae

Many birds, including woodcreepers, anthrushes, and some tanagers follow army ants around. They forage on the insects and small animals rushing in an attempt to escape the army ants. They are a relatively primitive family of birds (Dendrocolaptidae).
