We enjoyed the scenery, the horses were beautiful, the competition was fascinating, and the Currier & Ives competition was grand. We recommend the trip. In the event of ground too muddy to allow car parking in the field, the event is post-poned a week. In the event of no snow, wheeled carriages are used. This year the event went on schedule with snow, but there was no sun at all and a chilling breeze. If there is snow and sun next year we will certainly return for more photography and enjoyment.
