Introduction

The photos in this section were taken at the Monday, August 9, 2004 and August 8, 2005 sessions of the New England Patriots training camp.

We are fortunate to live just three miles from Gillette Stadium. A friend (Pam Godin) told us about the training camp, and (being a Patriots fan) I had to check it out. Free parking, free admission, reasonably easy access, a play area for kids (with their parents present), and refreshment vendors available all made it a fun visit.

For the photos I used my 28-135 mm lens walking in, then switched to my 100-400 mm lens. I went on bright, sunny days, so I was able to use 1/350 second exposure time, which seemed to do the trick.

I hope you enjoy the photos.
