Purchasing Marian Berger's Art
When you see an artist, say "Thank you!" For when you know an artist's work you know a part of their world, and then that world becomes part of your life.
Marian Berger is still living and painting birds in Hawaii. You can purchase her work in several ways:
Via the Volcano Art Center Website.
By phone call to the Volcano Art Center at 866-967-7565. The time difference is 5 or 6 hours relative to MA.
By email to the Volcano Art Center at gallery@volcanoartcenter.org
Through her publisher, Mo Media.
Via internet search on "marian berger prints" or "marian berger Hawaii" or whatever you can dream up.
Marian has completed a double elephant portfolio of Hawaiian endemic birds, consisting of thirty-three images with the birds painted life-size. All thirty-three of the images may be seen on the San Diego Zoo website (click on "Print Gallery" to see them). To me they are spectacular. The project is a fundraiser to help protect Hawaii's endangered bird species. Today it is estimated that one third of the native Hawaiian bird species are extinct, and that an additional third are endangered. A sad story indeed for these beautiful birds.
Not every item in my collection is currently available; specifically, the lithographs are in very limited supply. I am even missing the 'I'wi in Marian's 1990 set of lithographs, and want to purchase one.
You may find the website about Marian Berger's publisher, Mo Media, interesting as well.
Marian is working on her own website, which currently consists of just an email contact link.
