The Grand Wailea Resort (where we stayed on Maui) is elegant, is filled with beautiful art (paintings, statues and landscaping), has great stores, is big, and was booked completely full. We are doing an entire slideshow just on the Grand Wailea! That said, I personally preferred the Radisson Kauai Beach Hotel we stayed at on Kauai. The Radisson was smaller, beautiful, was less crowded, had fewer stairs for me to climb, and was half the price. The Radisson even had a free happy hour and hula show each day.
