Northern Parula

taken on Sanibel Island, FL

On a one-time basis, we found a stunted palm tree in bloom, and were able to view a parade of warblers from point-blank range (about fifteen feet). Best of all, the road we were on was elevated, giving us a level shot at the birds. We saw northern parula (this photo), yellow throated warbler (next photo), and others.
