A family of ospreys lives at the lighthouse end of Sanibel Island, and is busy feeding chicks every spring. We have photographed them with a variety of fish, as shown here and in the next two photos. A friend informed me that speckled trout spend a part of their life cycle in salt water, where I saw this one caught.
