Help With Paying For Prescriptions

Although there are many new and effective drugs on the market, they are often quite expensive (as is Humira, the drug I use for my rheumatoid arthritis). People have contacted me due to the rheumatoid arthritis section of my website, and ended up being frustrated because their insurance did not cover Humira (or an equivalent medication), or because they simply had no health insurance at all.

There is an organization whose purpose is to help you find funding for your medications! It currently is only available for people living in the United States, but is hoping some day to go international.

The organization, Partnership for Prescription Assistance, is designed to help you find programs and other assistance to pay for your prescription drugs. They do not pay for the precriptions themselves. It is designed for those who do not have medical insurance, or do not have medical insurance that covers the prescriptions they need, and simply cannot afford to pay for the medications themselves. They can also be reached by phone toll-free at 1-888-477-2669.
