Introduction

In June of 2007 we travelled to Montana, including visits to the Triple D Game Farm, the National Bison Range, and Glacier National Park. We made the trip thanks to our "tour guide" Donna Leonardo (you can see her great photos at www.donnaleonardo.com).

The people at Triple D Game Farm are very nice and very helpful. In fact, they went out of their way to ensure we had the very best opportunity to photograph a wide variety of animals, and they used several different habitats/settings. They clearly understand what is needed in order to get a good photograph, and take great care to provide settings, lighting, and animal action conducive to fun and exciting photography. The three of us (my wife Joan, Donna and myself) had a great time and feel we truly received our money's worth.

Glacier National Park was just drop-dead beautiful. But then, you can judge for yourself by checking out our travel photos of Montana. And of course, you may see the Montana birds we encountered as well. We also encountered various Montana wild animals which we also photographed.
