Introduction

In July of 2007 we went on a two-week tour of the Avalon Peninsula (Newfoundland) with Gustav Verderber of Sojourns In Nature.

Overall it was a truly great trip with many, many great photo opportunities. We were very pleased.

As you can see below, we never had the opportunity to photograph caribou, and opportunities to photograph moose were slim. But the humpback whales were fantastic! So were the scenic views and the birds (gannet and puffin colonies).
